The Chronicon app

The chronicles,
in your hand

Everything on this website — 156 chronicles across 16 regions — rebuilt as an app for the phone, in English and Greek.

An iPhone version is on its way to the App Store.

What's in it

01
Library
Every region as a catalogue plate, filterable by family, with a “continue reading” shelf at the top.
02
Chronicle reader
A vertical timeline under a pinned date scrubber: drag through the centuries with your thumb, filter by category, change the text size.
03
Meanwhile, elsewhere
Open any entry to see its illustration, the full text, and what was happening at the same moment in other regions.
04
Across time
Pick any year from 3500 BC to today and see what every region's chronicles were doing then.
05
Search
Live results across entries, chronicles and regions as you type, with your recent searches kept.
06
Saved
Bookmark entries and regions, and the app remembers where you stopped in every chronicle.
